Episode #65 - Wild Wild West

It is physically impossible to say the words Wild Wild West and not put a little bit of Will Smith in it. We put that theory to the test for what felt like 2 hours. With help of new roommate and best friend (Kyle is dead to us… and also was busy during this recording) Isaac, the guys do their top 5 Will Smith movies, including consensus number 1, 7 pounds. They also discuss how this movie is so bad and so good, and ask the big questions like what was Selma Hayek doing the whole time and HOW WILL SMITH SURVIVE THESE FALLS? But one question trumps them all, “Is the credits song better than the movie?” That is the question and only question this podcast will ask the super computer/spider battlebot that enslaves us in the near future.

Episode #64 - The MOD Squad

We watched The MOD Squad. We talked about The MOD Squad. We did a MODPOD, that’s it, that’s the pun. We’re just trying to emotionally prepare you for what was at the moment we recorded it, the worst podcast we’ve ever done… In honor of Kyle’s favorite movie, Joker, we did a movie by Joker writer Scott Silver. Starring Claire Danes, Omar Epps, and Giovanni Ribisi you would think this could be good. YOU’RE WRONG. Deep dive with the guys as they slowly lose their minds, overdo soundbites, say their top 5 movie squads, and listen to Kyle say how much he loves Joker.

Episode #63 - The Wedding Date

Meg’s getting married! That’s right, Nick’s younger sister is taking the next step but before they can tie the knot they had to get her only brother’s blessing… which he would only give live on his bad movies podcast. Along with her soon to be husband, “Bug Boy” Cole, the gang ranks the top 5 wedding movies, talk sexy about Dermot Mulroney, discuss Debra Messing’s real hair color and decide that Amy Adams is probably mean in real life. Episode #62 - The Dark Tower

Cross over to a new dimension of high hopes and desolate results. Nick and Stephen go Tommyknockers deep into KingWorld, analyzing the Hollywood flop that was The Dark Tower (2017). We’ll get you, you little rascals, and your little dog too! That’s right, we did the classic, the little known prequel to Scooby Doo… The Little Rascals! The guys with guest Ted turn into Little Rascals themselves talking everything from the iconic “I got a dollar” song to Nick explaining in excruciating detail what exactly a “rascal” is. For our 60th episode we dipped into the classics. A cult classic, a Nic Cage classic and a classic what did I just watch. The guys and returning guest Derek "The" Lamb "Man" drive deep into Nic Cage character acting, bad car chases, and how Freb is one the true king! So hop on board and, LET'S RIDE!

Episode #59 - Men in Black: International

We did our second live review of the summer, Men in Black (colon) International. Not even a neuralizer can save you from what happens in this movie. Nick and Stephen are alone in the headquarters and almost burn the place to the ground. They do top 5 MIB aliens, start revving their engines for CATS and experience so many technical difficulties they almost quit podcasting. IT'S GREAT!

Episode #58 - The Beach

Two idiots and Brittany decide to talk about Danny Bolye’s worst film, and it gets REAL weird. We finally introduce the world to the genius that is our social media guru, and why a Southeast Asia sabbatical to an overcrowded island can lead yourself into a video-game like psychosis (we’ll get into that). All that and a heated debate of Leo’s best films, and why we all said “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?”

Episode #57 - Taxi

Queen Latifah. Jimmy Fallon. Taxis. How this golden triangle of comedy didn’t come together to produce a watershed comedy of the decade is beyond us. We blame Uber! Everyone blame Uber! Join the guys for a Kyle-less and Alex-less podcast extravaganza, where Nick and Stephen were left to their own devices and had the time of their lives. They talk about everything from French people loving Taxis to the top taxi movies of all time. It’s a roller coaster of a pod, if roller coasters were taxis and Queen Latifah was driving so dangerously that how she didn’t kill someone is a miracle. Giselle is also in it… she’s very bad.

Episode #56 - Dark Phoenix

Reel Rotten is Dead, and we are REBORN AS A DARK PHOENIX PODCAST. We’ve entered a new age. A live age. An age where Nick and Stephen PAY their hard earned money and see movies in theaters. This is our first live review, and we stupidly did Dark Phoenix. We cover everything but mostly focus on how horrible Cyclops is. Seriously, he’s just the worst. Also we have an X-MEN draft. No one picked Cyclops, because again, he’s the worst.
